Worst functioning console you've ever had to put up with?

my first ps2 didnt allow me to play some games, i think i got one of the first batch of ps2's and i was young like 9/10 funny enough my mother didnt even replace the fuking console if the system is not working why would u not take it back for a new one?

i remember gta 3 not working on my ps2 then i put it in my uncles one and it worked, i got so happy i ran home thinking it would work on mine, got in and was disappointed

i had to steal someones ps2 so i could be happy
jacked the boys that lived next to me, well i swapped my ps2 with theirs
i went home and at that time vice city had came out and i was so happy i got a working ps2 them suckers didnt see it coming

ps1 simply for the fact I was rough on the discs. would toss them around.. not put them into the cases.. or being lazy stacking 2 and 3 discs on top of each other in the same case. scratches like a motherfukka was the cause of my headaches....

NES was the most frustrating machine I have ever had to deal with...but for what it's worth once you figured it out that shyt ALWAYS worked. Blow in the games, put the game in you wanted to play and then put another on top to keep it in place, flip it over (before ps1) once they started putting a save function on certain games that shyt wouldn't work 50% of the time...so many different things with that system...but a nikka still only owned one of them because you could always find a way to make it work

OG PS2 wouldn't play blue disks. I remember getting one for Christmas with Madden and that shyt wouldn't play for shyt, got to the point that we'd go to Funcoland and ask "what color is the disk"

I was careless with my genesis and that shyt never gave me any problems....it was solid

Has to be between launch PS2's which wouldn't read purple discs, PS1 which I had to place upside down for it to read discs, or white 360s which would RROD if you looked at them wrong.

Yeah my first ps2 couldn't read God Of War because it was a gold disc. Turn it in got a slim ps2 it worked fined. The system that gave me the most grief was the 360. Went through four, and my current 360 died in February making it a total of five. Although because of the 360 I buy insurance on my systems now.

NES easily. If it wasnt the console that fukked up, your games wouldnt work for shyt. You had to blow on them, beat them, push the shyt in teh system so it was barely in there and jam the game down, then press reset 20 times just to boot up a damn game.
