Ummm Mcdonalds and Ihop.

McDonalds was fukking. Dis. gust. ting. I will NEVER eat at a mcdonalds restaurant again. NEVER Ever. You couldn't pay me to eat there.

IHop was frustrating because i'm not a people person. Guy and girls would hit on me daily and the other waitresses didn't like me for whatever reason. I made good tips- On Friday and Saturday nights I'd make between 400-800 bucks because of the after club crowd. They were usually drunk and rowdy and loose with their money ;)

I worked for Match.Com for a little bit. Basically we helped set up accounts and approve pics and stuff. I didn't too much care for the call center environment and was fired because of my lack of enthusiasm and tampering with user profiles.

THEN I worked for Convergys (another call center) and their client was At&t. We had to troubleshoot routers and stuff like that. Boring shyt but the people I met made it so much better.

I worked at an outdoor recycling plant 8 hours a day 6 days a week for almost 2 mnths in the winter... :sadcam:

but i got 15 days off my bid. :win:

You traded 60 days of free labor for 15 in jail? Not saying that I wouldn't have done it but it doesn't really add up.

Well, I never got around to working my worst job. I quit after the first day of training. It was at a new Dunkin' Donuts, the kind that is at a interstate rest stop. First day, we go through training on how to make donuts. The fryers are empty. No oil. We practice moving a metal grill from a table to an empty fryer using these grill holders. The grill can slip from your grill holders if you aren't careful and the grill and donuts can splash into the fryer. I practice it, pretty easy. This old dude does it. On his first try, the grill drops into the fryer and makes a loud bang. :wtf: It's like if that splashed into boiling oil, it would have been pretty bad. The grill is not that heavy, but with donuts, it gets heavier, and with fried donuts, it gets even heavier. We had to pack in this solid white fat into the fryers for practice. That was disgusting. After one day, I never returned. I did summer school at college instead. Fortunately, I signed up right before the deadline. Didn't get paid for my one day of training on the clock. Did not care either.
I did not eat donuts or fried bakery goods for a good 7 years after that. Seriously. I think I was like 26 or 27 when I decided to eat a donut again.

I was pretty selective after that when choosing future jobs.

I worked off time... so the labor was towards my sentencing. I coulda chose to stay in another unit and do my full time but i wanted to work.
so I worked off 15 days of my total time in jail and stayed in a unit that had showers with doors and toilets with a curtain. :wow:

After working at McDonalds I can't bring myself to eat there either.

What made working at McDonalds even worse was working the same McDonalds at 19 that I had a birthday party at when I was 5. :to:

Working in the shoe dept at Wal-Mart then maybe working as a hot dog girl at Ikea.
Made me hate people more than I already did. (does that sentence make sense?)

Nah. I was living in Pittsburgh and I just moved to NY last year. I was born and raised there so I've spent the majority of my life there (I'm 29). The only other place I lived in was Ohio and that was when I first started college and I was 18 at the time. I left there when I was 19 after I realized that the school I was at (a small private liberal arts school in smalltown Ohio) wasn't for me and moved back to Pittsburgh to attend community college and transfer to a 4 year university.

Needless to say, I needed to leave there. I had way too much baggage in Pittsburgh, there was nothing there for me after college, and I needed a fresh start in a new city.
