I worked at an overpriced local pizza joint ... the slices were good... massive in NY
but I also made the pizza there was nothing special about it
and we charged nutty ass prices for a whole large
I mostly drove but ended up doing manager shyt, cooking... mixing and prep shyt
people were buying 1 medium pizza delivery for like 24$ - 27$
we calculated one night how much one big bag of dough, with ingredients would cost divded up profit wise
it was like 24$ worth of dough and toppings bought, would make 33 pizzas at 20$ a pop ... 670$ profit per bag basically
wings were a whole nother story

Chain pizza is terrible cause no matter where you eat it whether North Carolina or Oregon it has to taste exactly the same that means cheese and all that shyt comes from the same warehouse nothing is fresh
here in Philly many quality local spots use cheese from local markets and for hoagies /sandwiches all local bakeries

just ordered a large pepperoni, mushroom. & bacon last night and my girl said the same shyt "this cheese nasty afPapa Johns without a doubt. shyt is nasty. I don't know how yall eat this shyt. Worst part is the cheese. I know cheese. That shyt I just ate is not a cheese.

Pizza is fking good especially if it’s 9.99 for a large. Can feed a family with that shyt. Pizza Hut Dinner Box is banging! Domino’s Pan Pizza when fresh is lovely. Papa Johns when fresh with the peppers is good too.
None Chain pizzas are the best but expensive 25$ for a large in shyt, I’m good with my cheap chain pizza. It’s kind of hard to fk up pizza, one of the best pizzas I ever ate was the first pizza I ever made, I keep trying to repeat it but it’s not the same.
