Worst? Half Life Episode 2 with Eli getting killed and seemingly leaving the developers with no conclusion in sight, thus an unfinished story 14 years later and still waiting smfh

Big Medic...and I get what Hideo was doing, but he could've implemented the story of Big Boss being everywhere in legend. Why it sucked? Mainly because its a rewrite of over 20+ years of story, just to fix some plotholes in the original game. It was trite, more over, it made the audience feel like morons who get baited and switched with every game release.
Then there was the whole Paz being a phantom was lame, and in general, everything after a certain point felt forced. A game with far too many twists.

I think the FF8 twist is a lil overstated.
Its silly but not game breaking. The series always had some insane coincidental shyt which never bothered me at all.

FF9 ran the same story as 4 with the same twists just a different setting.
