These days in the broadcaster business, it is a race to the bottom, not to the top.

Pretty much, its whoever can say the most outlandish, nonsensical shyt for the shock value or just be complete homers for whatever team they grew up cheering for or to have personal vendettas against whatever athlete denied them or their colleague an interview.

A lot of these dudes are just bitter because they tried being athletes and failed horribly. That's why most of them get so clearly hurt whenever athletes pull they card (e.g. Jalen Rose putting Skip Bayless on blast).

I'm not questioning his knowledge, the man can do play-by-play seamlessly in several sports, but he's virtually unlistenable and he's corny as all hell.
