During college - Used to work ELECTRONICS retail in NY -

WORST of the worst was Hasidic Jewish wives buying gifts for their husbands. They will haggle you for HOURS for a discount OR a freebie. They rude as fcuk.

2nd worst was Chinese folks - they would hassle you for information on certain products, then buy the knockoff on the chinese blackmarket.

The best customers were actually the Arabic/ Middle Eastern/ Indian/ Paki and Mexican / South American. They knew what they wanted, only SONY, and only paid straight cash money, no warranty, no credit. With the arab's, the item HAD to run on 220v - thats about it.

No of those people bothered me as much as the people who cane into my place at the end of the day with no attention to buy anything, just they have time to waste and know you leaving and want to keep you there, i had 2 ladies who tried this by asking me if these hanging lights that my old place sold came in with dark color glass, i said no, they said my i see a book to make sure i said no because the darker the glass the light you would get, and walked away because they knew i was right, another time, someone came in at the end said i want this type of fixture, then went to something completely opposite, i said when you know what you want come back and left, i see the big mistake allot of guys make on here is to engage and indulge these idiots, when i worked retail, i said can i help you and if they said no, i never went back to them. Give basic info and no choices and they will buy or leave.

Did that for a holiday season other than a few annoying customers it was mgt that was the most annoying.


But i did sell cars for 5 years and the award has to go to indians. I aint never see so many shenanigans all in the name of being a general cheap ass. THey lie always with they they have a brother or cousin that bought the car just yesterday @ 10k below invoice. My fav line to hit em with "Have him fax me the invoice ill gladly match it" just to watch em stammer. Stay trying to get top pf the line @ entry level price and will do it with a str8 damn face like sumfin is wrong with you.
Real spit indian family walk in the joint its str8 tumbleweed status folks start disappearing heading to the bathroom smoke breaks whaever. Shyt we would pass em str8 to the rookies so we could deal with other customers. Worst thing you could do on a busy saturday is to be stuck for 8 hours arguing with sum indian over $200

surprised at all the haitian remarks. haitians were always cool to deal with. they usually go into a store already knowign what they want, they did all the research to make sure they got the right item thats on sale, and some haitians are cheap but for the most part i never seen them scrounging up change to meet a dollar. they usually pay in big bills. so glad i dont deal with people anymore though.

Worst people in a clothing store setting:

*The "This top is tagged $39.99, but I found it on the $9.99 rack, therefore it's $9.99" ladies. "Bu bu but I found it on the clearance rack!"

*11-17 year old shoplifting ass white girls who steal the DUMBEST stuff and you KNOW they/their parents aren't struggling. Yes, I saw you stuff 20 pairs of $5 panties into your legitimate Louis Vuitton bag.

*The person who INSISTS on you going into the case to get that handbag from the Coach counter then when you go to ring it up, loudly exclaims "TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS?!!!!!!! AIN'T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THAT."

There's a reason that only lasted like 4 months.
