No degree is worthless. :mjpls:

Just having the term bachelors degree on your resume should be good enough for one to finesse their way into an upper management position.
I was going to say this. I think some degrees you're going to have to put in a little more work for outside the curriculum (Internships and/or networking), but like you said have a degree can help get you to the next level if you use it right.

Jobs and promotions are all about networking and building relationships. A degree is icing on the cake. Unless you want to be a doctor, lawyer or engineer which has educational requirements, any degree will suffice.

Most jobs you work for should be used as education as well because you're gonna have to learn new shyt anyway. A degree lets employers know you have the aptitude to learn and make a long term commitment to learning something and succeeding.

Blows my mind that people think a degree will guarantee you something. Nobody on this planet is owned work or a job, nobody! A degree shows discipline through rigorous work, dedication and patience. Only think it gets you is an opportunity what you do with that opportunity is up to the individual.

My degree is "worthless", but I make 82K and I'm not even 30 yet. The skills I learned as a History major worked out in my favor.
You have a "worthless" degree and make double what I make it, and I have a stem degree:snoop:
How long did it take to reach that though:whoo:

College is a SCAM.

Cerifications are LEGIT.

STEM is in demand.

People skills is the $hit, without it just quit.

It's mostly how about you market your degree, not the degree itself.
If I had a degree in Philosophy I would market the qualities of that degree.

People go into the work force expecting the degree to speak for itself, but that isn't going to cut it. The next guy may have the same degree and can interact and sell himself better than you, or he may have a less valuable degree.

Learn how to sell yourself or go to medical school.

:damn:
Bro what job do you have as a history major? That’s my favorite subject I’d get a 4.0 if I majored in that.

Thinking of doing education with a history emphasis
