Social media has caused a lot of deaths—entertainers (FBG duck, pnb rock, pop smoke, and many others) , FB beefs and drama which have led fights, jail time, flash mobs, relationship nonsense, shootouts… even killed Zacktv. besides giving @BrothaZay daily topics… idk if it’s done much good for common blk folks.

Might be the dumbest question of the day.

Absolutely not.
There are roughly 40 million black people in the United States. Just cause social media might negatively impact less then 1% of black doesn't mean we're better off without. Social media has helped far more then it's hurt.

The best part about this, is most social media issued can be solved with common sense

There’s more black millionaires then ever before and shyt hasn’t gotten better at all. All it does is create a bunch of individuals with money who flex on each other and the nikkas below them. Black people don’t practice group economics either and the money goes right back to whites anyway.

Strong black families with both parents in the home is more important. It leads directly to better communities. If millionaires come from that than so be it.

You mean entertainers didn't get killed before social media? That's news to me. :leon:
You mean nobody ever interacted with anyone and got in fights, jail time, had flash mobs, relationship nonsense or shootouts before social media? Wow that is spectacular:wow:

Life was a utopia before social media and it all went to hell soon as blackplanet and MySpace started poppin off :martin:

Yall got to be some of the dumbest fukkers with an internet connection.
2022 and yall still don't understand how social media works.

Social media didn't cause shyt and this distinction is crucial. Put the responsibilities where they lie or the issues can't be resolved.

These are tools. How people use these tools is the issue. Furthermore this is not a Black people problem. It's a human issue. If you believe in free will and a higher power then you should respect all that you were gifted. When you conduct yourself in harmful ways you don't get to blame everything but your actions and ask to be censored from your own self destructive ways like you can't have any self control. If you are that weak you might as well be a pawn. Get a lobotomy. What is the purpose of a word full of humans who can't and won't take personal accountability for their actions? Drugs did this to me, social media didn't that to me. Nah our habits choices are the issue.

We get reach an access and we use it in destructive ways. Someone else gets the same tools and makes something different happen with them. At the end of it all it's on the user to abstain or use wisely but not act helpless.
