I notice that when ever cacs try and talk to blacks about racism they always bring up how whites were enslaved too or how blacks enslaved blacks.

What about the lynchings and brutalities that blacks endured back then?

How can we get over slavery when its effects can be seen so clearly in every facet of our society. Blacks remain in a state of servitude, "freed" from the plantations to work in menial jobs that provide nothing in the way of actual wealth to build strong communities; our men are imprisoned and subject to background checks that limit their mobility; and popular culture treats us as side shows instead of as human beings.
