This is going to be Kendrick and Drake conversations in the next 20 years.
Respectfully disagree.
Virtually every hip-hop fan at least has a grudging level of respect for both Jay and Nas as artists no matter how deep the stannery runs.
Drake has been completely dismissed and disrespected as a pop act by a wide swath of hip-hop fans well before the Kendrick beef ever popped off.

Is that why many hip hop fans think Stillmatic was better than BP? and let's be FR, production carried BP

Lyrically, it's not even a contest...Stillmatic is just way more substantive, bars stick to your ribs, better concepts, deeper, and just overall better
What is “many”? Other than Nas Stan’s who thinks this?

Your individual opinion on the album doesn’t make Stillmatic more important to rap than the Blueprint :russ:

"combined" is wild disrespectful lol

But if someone wanted to say Blueprint is more impactful than any singular Nas album since '01, I could see that argument :ld:

one big rapper last year just copied One Mic :sas2:

H to the Izzo is sampled significantly more than that song.
Since the sound of Blueprint was created by Just Blaze and Kanye...for Ghostface, after they listened to Supreme Clientele.

No (and even if that wasn't the case, no).
What does this have to do with the album being more sampled and quoted than all those Nas albums put together?

Stillmatic is the greatest comeback album of all time, with the greatest diss, during a competitive time in rap

My opinion is one of many...go to YT and watch vids on Stillmatic vs BP
