Here's a summary
Neidhart has had other legal issues in the past. In January of 1987, he was on a flight from Tampa to Pittsburgh when he was charged with punching a female flight attendant who worked for U.S. Air. He swore that he never touched her, and was acquitted a few months later. Vince McMahon then loaned him the money to sue the airline with the best lawyer he could find: Future Senator Rick Santorum, who procured a $380,000 settlement at the end of 1991, netting him a gig as a lobbyist for the WWF. Neidhart never paid McMahon back, and he was fired for it. When Neidhart was fired, he went looking for Joe "Jay Strongbow" Scarpa, found him, and putting his experience as a shot putter to use, threw a TV monitor at his head. He ducked and it hit one of the TV directors in the leg, so Neidhart jumped in his car and sped out of the parking lot. He spent the money quickly on various excesses and for awhile he carried around what was left of it in cash in a fanny pack. Not long after that, it was all gone.
