OkIt's much more than that, it's simply due to the fact that the ball is deflated once it hits his hands.
It is either hitting the rim or being poked out, I sit in amazement anytime he actively looks to move the ball around.
Melo just had the better team, no doubt that LeBron had a better rookie season with the 20,5,6Everyone knows melo had a better rookie season

Cavs and Nuggets had a similar record the year before melo and bron got there. Soon as melo got there they went to the playoffs. That alone should've been enough reason to give him ROY award
