At that point, the only Democrat in a position to run WOULD HAVE TO run their whole campaign on punishing the people responsible for destroying our country.

You communicate to your voters that you are a threat to the people on top, and you need full fledged armed security at all times.

If the people are rocking with you (they would, in the millions) they would not mind financing your protection.

You get everyone behind you if you run a fearless campaign like that. Government wants to arrest you, millions of people would show up to protect you.

What frightens me is this was Trump's angle.

He actually convinced americans he was this person because he knew that's what Americans actually wanted.

Yet who he is hasn't changed before or after he got into politics.
