No. Society is way too selfish these days to mobilize for one big mission

Even an ultra nazi nation like russia is struggling with soldier mobilization and not touching any major city. They already looking for dumb ass soldiers in north korea. Tried finding some in Aftica and they say no fukk you and your wars.

if there's another world war, which is just what these crakkkas are pushing for, of course there's gonna be a draft. they've already laid the groundwork for it, and this time there won't be any running to canada or anywhere else. if you don't report when your number is called you'll go to prison for 3 to 5.

some of you nikkas truly live in a fantasy world, where "the public" is going to tell the powers that be how things are going to go lol

I don't think a draft would be necessary. Each time there's an event, military enrollment goes up. Just look at 9/11.
the problem is when you talk to alotta people that served during the wars in afghanistan and iraq, a good many of them said they're against their kids enlisting, which is why the numbers are so low now. sure, there'll be an uptick in enlistments if there was another 9/11 type event and the US was going to push around another bumfukk nation.

But if you're talking serious wars against peer militaries? Simultaneous conflicts against China and Russia with maybe North Korea thrown in? Nah, voluntary enlistments won't get it. Little fat Brian, who's grown up jacking off to porn and discussing his "feelings" and "mental health" online is gonna grow up real fast when uncle sam sticks an m-4 in his hand during boot camp.

I don't disagree with your statement. Veterans regardless of wars are rarely pleased about fighting. Still, historically people do enroll. The Brian sentence is funny though but there are plenty of them in bootcamp right now.
