George Clooney says it ‘wasn’t worth’ taking $35M for one day of work


George Clooney has spent the better part of 40 years in showbiz and has his pick of the litter when it comes to job opportunities.

The “Ocean’s Eleven” actor, 60, revealed he once refused $35 million for just one day of work on an airline ad.

Clooney was asked by the Guardian about his upcoming film “The Tender Bar” and whether he thinks he has “enough money now.”

“Well, yeah. I was offered $35 million for one day’s work for an airline commercial, but I talked to [my wife] about it and we decided it’s not worth it,

he’s worth at least half a billion…at what point in his career did he turn this money down? surely it wasn’t when he was starting out lol

Depends what the commercial was. If they had him in clown make up barking like a dog, maybe he figured that easy 35M would cost him multiple 10M movies and derail his whole career
