are you on a computer or monitor? it could be your hardware that's causing the BSOD. Update all your drivers.

Do me a favor, record the Blue screen error. It can be anything from improperly seated memory to an overheating CPU. Record the message and post it.

Source: I build custom computers. Been doing this for 15 years.
i'm not that computer savy but overheating sounds about right considering right before the blue screen messages started the back of my tower used to get unusually hot(though not so much lately..actually i already took a few notes of the blue error messages(for a potential repair guy just in case)i'm sure i missed a few things and it's not in perfect order but this what i got so far:

-something about IRQL not less or equal

-i was told to uninstall/disable antivirus,to try disk degragmentation and check for updat drivers(tried that and it always says they are up to date)

run CHKDSK/F check for hardware driver corruption

-a clock interrupt was not received on 2ndary processor with allotted time interval

Tech info:

*** Stop(0x00000101(0x00000061,0x00000000,0x80DC7120,0X00000001)

*** Stop:0x00000011(0x00005003,0xc0402000,0X0000B325,0X0a952009)

APC Index Mismatch

collecting data for crash dumb
initiating disk for crash dump
beinning to dump of physical memory
dupming physical memory to disk

Alot of people that made the switch to Windows 10 from whatever they had previously experienced an ass load of errors and problems from simply booting up to using certain programs that weren't compatible with the new OS.

If you buy/build a comp that has it already, it's sweet enough but the upgrade from old to new is fraught with so many potential errors it's crazy.

Not for me

I installed Windows 10 on my Dell XPS M1530 (2008) it runs smoothly

Having windows 7 isn't going to give you blue screen of death bro.

Given the fact that you did system restore and it didn't fix the problem.. it's probably a hardware issue.

not off the top of my head but with windows help and support instructions yeah
Yeah I would check the drivers use slimdrivers SlimDrivers Free
:whoa:i tried this but ended up deleting it after reading it could be a virus/malware

yeah that what i'm thinking....considering after doing a Safe Mode check my computer shut down again:usure:now that i think about it most likely overheating considering the back of my tower is always frying and i don't see the fans(at all):patrice:

and would i lose my saved bookmarks and passwords if i was to do so? while i would much rather stay with windows 7 ultimate cause it's speed i about a month ago i stated getting blue screen errors regularly and when i tried system restore all of my option restore points were within the last few hours to days(long after) i started getting the error:mindblown:Shortly there after i updated to Windows 10 which seem to fix things though i can't be sure cause i only kept it for a few hours until i decided to go back to 7 cause it takes forever to load when i first turn on the computer and some annoying invisible bug kept popping up on my monitor every 10 or so seconds:what:i tried following the blue screen error directions in deleting all anti viruses software(which i think may be the source of the problem considering i once had 2 different anti viruses installed) and today changed my video adapters and even tried following youtube instruction videos on how to solve a bluescreen error yet nothing works:martin:

i'm if something doesn't change soon i might have to come out of pocket and take my pc to a repairman:snoop:

The BSOD may not be a software issue... could be memory, could be overheating, could be CPU going bad.... it could be the hard drive going bad... you need to troubleshoot breh. Check the hardware first before blowing away the OS.

yeah i suspect it's a combo of memory and overheating(due to some of the messages i've been receiving in the blue screen error)but i've already troubleshooted multiples times and nothing's changed:francis:later today i plan to open up my pc and check in the inside for dust and make sure everything is in place:yeshrug:

just because there is no dust doesn't mean that the cpu/memory haven't been cooked.... I would suggest buy ram and cpu and swap them in one by one until the the blue screen goes away. the last one that you swapped in is the culprit
