Talent wasted on subpar material. I do agree with you though. The difference, IMO, is that Aaliyah made better use of her talents which translated into better overall music. Even without Missy and Timbaland, Aaliyah still made dope music. Her work w/ Static on her last album and what she did w/ R. Kelly on the first album is also crazy.

I don't know if anyone mentioned that detinys child had 4 #1 HOT100 singles and 2 albums that sold a combined 10 million in the states while Aaliyah was alive.

U tlkin abt realness....exactly why I called her Cassie with a personality. Both are soft spoken singers, dont dance, and have model looks
