She wasn't big on the size/price of the ring...I knew she was gonna say Yes with whatever ring I got, which made me want to get the ring I thought she like anyway.

I think that's what it is with a lot of guys.

I don't wear jewelry, jewelry isn't really special or rare, and I definitely don't want no shyt that's like $1000+ on my finger when the initial plan is to just put it on a necklace

I said before if my husband took like a jewelry class and made my ring out of copper or some shyt I'd be perfectly happy. I also said before it's stones cheaper than diamonds that are way more rare, so he can put that in there

i cant find the initial article where i learned about diamonds and how they're only "priceless" because of how strong they are and marketing. but thats where i learned of other gems being more rare, and selling for much less

Uhh no only because those rings are tacky. I also think gaudy expensive flashy rings are also tacky. I just want a gold band with maybe a small diamond in the middle. Like i wouldnt mind if i were to be given a ring from an antique shop or something.
