LOL people work from home all the time. Yall want to slave away at a job so badly to the point you wouldn't risk it to benefit your children. This is crazy to me.

What I'm saying is, if one of us has to slave away at a job, I'm always going to pick me as that person. I'm not married to my work and would just as soon give it all up if I had a large financial windfall. Being a stay at home dad just doesn't sit right with me and it's not something I believe I could find joy in.

The same could be said for many women out there, women that would prefer to work and have their man handle things at home. I'm not compatible with those women.

My view is about a father having a daily impact on the molding, modeling and rearing of his children outside of finances, which I feel is NECESSARY!! You're fixated on chores for some reason.

Because that's what is in the original post :gucci:

When I lost my J back in early 2020 I pretty much became a stay at home dad because the pandemic shut everything down. My wife loved it though. She still talks about it til this day :russ:

Her dream is for me to be a stay at home dad. It was easy for me. I already cook the most, clean the most, and I handle the kids pretty easily.

If I did it I’d have a gig part time or remote. I gotta have something.

Honestly, I'd be bored out of my fukking mind.

But if it works for them as a couple and family unit, good for them.

My wife is a boss ass chick, and she just inspires me to work harder.

If you have a well paying career/business owner, the ROI on a nanny/professional house cleaner is well worth it.

I'd do it for a few years. Start a business on the side as her accountant so she can write off payroll tax for paying me and we can write the house off as a home business. Then after my 3-4 years, I'll have a full business either a firm or DBA as an accountant consultant. All the while improving the bond with the kids and my culinary skills.

It would give me time to work on making beats as my hobby so I get some leisure time in.

Imagine a husband making 500k and your wife making 500k as well

That would be 10x better :whew:

Being a stay home dad is a laughable concept for me honestly. But I won't knock a man who decides he wants to do that
