Do you know what artist is ? Those are people with the most creativity and imagination

Western science is dogma
You should have just asked me if I am an artist. My answer is I am a writer. I have written a screenplay that was shopped. I have written music for a singer that was recorded. I have co-written a pilot series for Williams St that was bought and turned into an episode of ATHF and I have co-written a published work. I used to own a management company in Atlanta that represented creative writers, musicians and graphic artist alike. Does that mean I know what an artist is since I consider myself one and have managed people who consider themselves artist? Probably, but thats up to to whoever is asking the question to decide for themselves.

My point is you are putting an intangible way of existing into a very finite box which is very unartistic. Most successful entrepreneurs are creative and have imagination and many come from various backgrounds, none of which are entertainers. Assuming someone has to be an entertainer have the sole monopoly on what is considered an artist is ridiculous. The irony is that most people involved in the entertainment industry seen as an artist, are not artist themselves. Most don't write their own music, play their own instruments or write their own scripts and have fans. Those that do all those hings that it takes to make an "artist" usually don't have fans. That is my point.

Creativity and Imagination is not limited to or defined by your occupation. Its is only defined by that person's creativity and imagination.

How successful a rapper? If I was a rapper making a couple mil every year, for 3 years, I would live below my means, and own mad businesses on the side. be something like Chamillionaire where he flipped that rap money so he never works for anyone again.

Bill gates stole ideas from people that's how he became rich not cause of his imagination
I used Bill Gates as an example since others I name you would likely not be aware offhand of to say he has influenced people as well when you moved the goalpost form "changed the world" to "influenced people" and he is from STEM. Computing has changed the world in ways that entertainers could never. Computing has changed what is even considered entertainment or artistic. Computing has created new avenues for what is to be considered art. That is my point. Its not even to say that one is more than the other. Its to say that one isnt the definition of art, while no others are...as you so put it.

It doesn't take imagination all that stuff is taught in school

You can't teach talent to an artist
You say that as if ART SCHOOL doesnt exist. Like people don't go to college to be learn to write, learn to draw, paint, sing, play an instrument, sculpt or anything else that is considered artistic.

I'd rather make six figures in a STEM career because as a celebrity, you loose all your anonymity meaning, you can't really go anywhere or do anything without fear of someone taking a picture or recording you. that shyt is for the birds.

and speaking of birds, being famous will attract a flock of them as well. I'm good on that.

Before anyone starts knocking down rapping.
As a successful rapper you will get access to things in life (in terms of materialism/hedonism) that that someone with a STEM degree never could.
And because of your famous status it will make opening other avenues of income (clothing, games, brands, hell even institutions) that much easier, see Dre with Beats. The STEM guy knows a whole lot more about sound engineering and how to best design the headphones but it was Dre's face that made and received the money.
Can you imagine if Jason with 2 STEM degrees came out and said "Buy these headphones guys, they're great. Trust me here I have TWO degrees I've done the research." You could twist it to become a funny marketing campaign but either way the guy is getting laughed out of the investors meeting.
If you play you Cards right, you could end up like Jay-Z, Diddy, Dre etc...
Or DMX.

On the other hand a STEM degree is less bottleneck in terms of financial success (min 6 figures) and if you play your cards right you could end up becoming someone like Elon Musk.

That should have been the question in the OP would you rather be a billionaire rapper or Elon Musk.

On topic though it depends how you go about things. Both have the potential for massive gains.

Or you could be like the majority of people trying to rap and be making 4 figures (this is generous) and have a mixtape with 289 downloads on datpiff.
