Would you date a female over the age of 18 without a car or steady job?

Well that seems random:dead:

:russ: when I was going to answer your post I moused over the time & date in the corner of my screen and it said that daylight savings time is ending and that made me remember that it's fall, and that made me remember that it's gonna rain tomorrow.

18 isn't really a fair cut off.
Most people are in school at 19 and/or in the process of getting their heads above water.
I'm 22 so I'd say by 21 if she doesn't have a car or a steady job, I wouldn't entertain her seriously.
Sounds like she doesn't have much drive or ambition and she certainly ain't about to ride for free.
If she's bad, we could casually kick it, though.
:ehh:

Yes.
This cutoff for a job should be at the end of college, or if not in school, at 20. The car thing is a different story, especially if she lives in a large city with a solid transit/bus system (New York, Chicago, Cleveland, etc).
I can find you a lot of Stanford students over 18 who don't have jobs or cars because they're working toward their career goals. If she's not working in school, then she better be working at a store or something.

over 18 is a bit young to be settled these days. In fact I know so many people in their mid twenties -thirties who are either still living at home with their parents or who depend on bank of mom and dad in some way it's unreal. It's not always pure laziness either, because the baby boomers (generation just retired) spent all the money when time was good.

Us youngsters might have it easier in some ways than our parents and grandparents (poverty these days is more not having a mobile phone contract or an internet connection than starving ).... tthanks to cradle to grave government welfare if you are on your ass... but wages at least in my country are in the toilet have not kept up with prices , many working people take governmentwelfare just like the unemployed do,beause if they didn't theycouldn't pay rent /heat homes/ feed family...

Jobs aren't what they used to be either, zero hour contracts, immigrants driving wages down because of greedy corporations...

So I would just treat female without car or steady job as an individual. Find out the reasons why,if they are true, it's not a complete disqualifier, like other things would be, but I do wonder how many women would be so unjudgmental and not write someone off for being broke in a flash. I have been broke before, it's not always a person's fault. Wouldn't date a lazy bum though, not matter what. I have to say though Iam far more judgemental about other things, than this I have zero tolerance for them I can tell you,,rudeness to people is one of them/smoking pot is another ,some men are different I guess.

Yes easily, because you will have those things and she'll look up at you as much more superior and give up the box easier

If she's making an attempt to better herself, sure.
