Would you date a single mo(soon to be a doctor) with those qualities?

There's a lot going for her with being an MD. You can't get into med school without being smart and well rounded nowadays before applying.
Breh trust me that's usually far from the case.
Being "smart"= Not having a life in undergrad in order to keep up the 3.7gpa and "well-rounded" means mad hrs shadowing, school clubs etc to pad the resume.
Most med students are socially awkward af and the profession attracts certain personality traits that are not exactly conducive to long-term relationships.
I would go as far as to say the average med student isn't as well-rounded as the general population.
Plus the fact that she's not even in residency means the next 5-7yrs are gonna be brutal w/o even having the added responsibility of a kid and new relationship.
I'd say tread lightly but it's ultimately up to OP:yeshrug:

My cousin has been married to a girl who had a child when they met and they seem happy and everything worked out

It all depends on the person.

I'm a pre med student breh(gonna start applying next year) . I do all of those things and I'm not exactly socially awarkward. Neither is my sister.

In addition to my shadowing(I only do this every Thursday for 12 hours). and being president of 2 clubs. I also assistant coach for a local elementary school soccer team.

I also work front desk at the library in between classes on certain days. Trust me, I have nikkas talking to me out of boredom than actually needing books or more printer paper. I'm forced to be social this way.

If there's one thing you're right about, it's definitely the lack of free time. Lol.

What gender is the child?

How involved is the father and more importantly what is his temperament?

From a combo of having the single mom experience and knowing I wouldn't be prioritized by one in medical school l, I wouldn't do it but you're not me so :yeshrug:

I feel ya breh, but I meant social in a more non-school related settings.
You'll see what I'm talking bout with the certain personality thing once you hit jr year and taking o-chem, p-chem etc. with the 4hr labs with these people. And from then on its a straight sprint til at least clinicals. Having a relationship at that time (unless ya'll doing the same thing) is rough, let alone having a kid to take care of.
I don't see myself dating a single mother so maybe I'm a lil biased:yeshrug:

Honestly have no issue w/ a woman that has one child unless there's tons of drama b/t her and the father :yeshrug:

I once got a 26 year old single mother pregnant my Freshman year. :snoop:

She was gullible as rocks and was already cheating on me with her ex around the time. I simply made her put the blame on her ex to get him to pay for the abortion so my parents wouldn't find out.

Dude was a total simp for her so he actually paid to abort my future kid if he wanted to have her back. I was verrrrrry lucky to be off the hook. And my parents didn't find out a thing since I lived in campus.

To this day I still mentally thank him for keeping me from being a baby daddy at age 19. I would've likely have to quit my pre-med track if she actually had the kid.

She didn't want another kid anyway because she already has a hard enough time taking care of her bratty ass son. Of course I wanted to hit that fat ass raw. Big mistake on my part.
