I think a lot of people are missing the point that OP made about the ex having changed.
A lot of the replies seem to suggest that their exes CAN'T change....which I suppose is ridiculous because by the same token, it kind of implies that YOU can't change.
In any case, I don't think I would get with an ex, but I might. Even if they have changed, I've probably changed since then too...and we might be completely different, incompatible people at this point.

My thing is I give people chances. I am not obligated to put myself at risk again just because you miss me and/or decided finally change. I am currently dealing when an Ex who had more chances than he deserved. Now I am treating him bad and I have "changed" because I wont deal with him or be his friend.

Some people are put in your life for a reason and just a season. Maybe our purpose was for you to learn the hard way and be better for the next.
