Why not just eat a fukking mushroom that looks like a mushroom? What is it with vegans and their obsession with making their food look like meat (pause)?

All of this. I don't mind eating vegan/vegatarian (whatveer the exact difference is) every now and then, I'm open to tasting new stuff. But just call it what it is.

Yeah I would but I do agree with the sentiment that vegan cooks gotta stop naming their shyt after meat. It's a sautéed mushroom and that's fine. I saw some other bullshyt where a motherfukker shaved carrots and slowly dried them out in the oven to get them crispy and painted them and for what? Just so he could call his thinly sliced baked carrots vegan bacon

I see some of you have never had some good mushrooms before....when cooked properly and very well it tase just like meat....shyt is crazy to me....I had a dish one time and I swear I thought it was Italian sausage in there.....come to find out it was all mushrooms....

That's because you are on the west coast where the vegans roam. You have access to more refined meals.
