Would you have ever seen a day where McDonalds would be struggling to HEALTHIER brands?

Five Guys is one of the most over-rated franchises on the inter-webs thanks to cacs. It's so overpriced and it aint even good, it's "mediocre."

Seriously? If you're referring to his caloric part of the post [which is all his post is]; the chicken and rice will be about 1,000 calories as well given the portions they gave y'all.
Just the pure chicken and rice at 1000 cals would have to be 3 potions give or take.

They (whole foods) serve more than that, you can get whole pizzas or slices, sushi, sandwiches, baked goods and a shyt load of other things. You should try it. It's not as one sided as you think. It's a grocery store so it'd make sense they'd have everything you need...
1st time I went in a Whole Foods was last year in Ohio. The smell of the food they were cookin in there:noah:

This shyt is incredible to watch.

Things like SweetGreen, Chipotle, Subway, Shake Shack etc are taking OVER and old giants are struggling to keep up

Its really just a reminder that even the big ones still have to compete at the highest levels and always worry about falling off
People need to stop talking about Chipotle is healthy. It's a fat pig's paradise in there!

McDonalds other problem is they arent the best at anything

Burger King has better burgers, Wendys/Popeyes/Bojangles has better chicken and pretty much any non-fast food non-fancy place has much better food for less money. Nobody has ever said "Yo McDonalds got the GOAT xxxxxx" and they keep trying to switch shyt up and reinvent themselves. Theyre fukked :sadcam:
They got the best fries outta any burger place. The only place with better fries is POPEYES, but I dont think MCDONALDS is competing with them cuz they two different lanes.

Eh, not really.

Lemme school you holmes.

A 6 oz. piece of chicken from that place probably has about 400-500 calories. A half cup of rice is about 40 carbohydrates (a.k.a. 160 calories).

So if you have 1.5 cups of rice which is easily attainable there, you're at about 1,000 :manny:

I heard a piece about this on NPR. It's basically people are choosing to pay a little more quality ingredients and service over what McDonalds is offering. It's difficult for McDonalds to compete because they have the perception of cheap, fast food and people are beginning to trend away from that. So McDonalds basically has to reinvent themselves in some kind of way or continue to face losses.

6oz of chicken is generally 275 at best. For how it's prepared there I don't know where you get and extra 125 cals

Chipotle chicken and brown rice is 380 calories

http://www.chipotle.com/en-US/menu/nutrition_calculator/nutrition_calculator.aspx

16 oz chicken thighs is 440 calories so 6 oz is 165 calories and a half cup of rice is 100 calories

Lol at Chipotle being healthy.

Chicken burrito and chips = 1000-plus calories
Calories aren't a good measure of whether something is healthy or not. It depends on if they're empty calories, or if they're coupled with protein, vitamins, without a lot of hydrogenated oils and GMOs. Chipotle is a hell of a lot better than most fast food/fast dining places.

You're right.

But more calories = easier to gain weight
