You're supposed to have your first young: 20's till mid 30's.

With all the health risks associated with having kids too late.

Blame the cost of living and the non-family paradigm that America and its workforce is on, nowadays. On top of feminism and the glorification of shortcuts of raising kids.

Kid graduates high school and you are getting ready for SSI...10 years later you are sharing diapers with your grandkids...

Have kids in your twenties....you can see some great-grandkids.

That's why I'm kinda low key jealous of those that have kids young. Have a kid at 20 and you pretty much done at 38-40.

One of the main benefits of having kids later is that you have the time to do the things you want in life while you're still young. You get all of that out of your system before you become a parent. There's nothing enviable about putting your social life on hold for the next 18+ years when you're in the prime of your youth.

I have nothing against people not wanting kids because they want to enjoy their life. But people need to stop with the "the world is fuked up" excuse.
