This! People care too much what society wants for them, but they forget about making themselves happy.Have a child because you and your wife genuinely want to, not because it's something to check off your bucket list.

Completely different when you're rich or have a certain status imo I would have kids at any age if I was a millionaire
I am the last of 3. I felt I was robbed of a traditional father-son relationship because he was older, and new to this country, he had to grind for us to have a good life. Switched professions got a CDL and have been driving buses at the airport for 20 years now. I didn’t get to ride bikes with my dad and go catch movies on a Sunday type of thing, because he was always working but, I saw him everyday, till this day, get up and go to work and I respect that. Dude is my hero frfr. See that’s the thing. Nobody is ever really ready to have kids if that makes sense. Adjustments will have to be made regardless of your situation. I’m speaking as someone who is 39 and done having kids. I won’t knock anybody for choosing till later becuz I understand. But my daughter is 11 now. By the time I’m in my mid 50s I’ll be able to only worry about me financially and be able to enjoy the fruits of my labor for the rest of my daysThe 'ready ' stuff is most of the time an excuse.![]()
Right woman, right situation
That stuff is important tho. Some of the best memories I have with my father involved physical activities. The stuff he did with me at 35 he wouldn’t have been able to do at 55. Of course it’s possible to be a great dad at any age but from my perspective but I look at like at athlete in his prime where they are strong both mentally and physically. Having them too when you arent fully mentally developed isn’t good I know from experience. But also having them too old you won’t be your best physically. While raising kids you want to be on point in both of those areas. But to each his ownKnow nikkas that had kids at that age... some had kids at 50....... Great fathers too.... if you think the epitome of fatherhood is being able to beat your son in a game of 21 when he’s 14 got fukked up priorities to begin with
It's not ideal but i'm rich af my kids are set for life regardless and even though i may not be around the longest or see them grow i will leave a long standing legacy and can pass down some serious assets i.e property and potentially businesses. That's what i mean really but no doubt having the first kid when you're older than 40 is waiting too long regardless of wealth. It’s not just about the money. If you’re wealthy having kids old af doesn’t always go well. You won’t have the energy to father as actively as you would if you were in your 20/30s. A lot of these kids who’s parents are old af end up having to deal with caretaking when they are in their 20s. Or those parents weren’t as active because they were tired and had other shyt going on. That’s not fair to the child. The older you have your child, the less time y’all have together typically.

Yup, because Clooney is like 99.9999% of the male population right?Clooney was older than that,no?

My dad had me last, late on in life. He was still physically active but like you, I felt like I didn’t get the same experience my older siblings got.My father just turned 39 when I was born.I am the last of 3. 39 is too old. I want to be done by 34 I think.
