Would you help bring a washing machine up stairs?

Lets assume your girl friend is buying a washer and dryer. The dryer can be delivered and installed, but the washer cant. So you'll have to help her rent a pickup and dolley, bring it to her spot, then bring it up the stairs (on the dolley).

Would you be willing to do this?Or do you feel like its too much of a safety risk?

Just call a friend or look for a cheap moving company on Craigslist. They usually charge $50-$100 for stuff like this.

I almost had a dryer fall back on me

we got it to the top from the basement and something happened and it came falling down the stairs

thankfully I realized it right away and went running down the stairs before it brought me down with it

I guess ask for help from your boy if 180 to 230lbs is too much . Maybe get a movers strap or a hand truck to wheel it up steps one by one?
