You can take it a stair at the time with a dolly so long as they don't complain about scuffing the stairs. You will be on the handle end lifting and going stair by stair, she just has to push forward to keep balance. It's not really a safety risk so long as you have it strapped properly to the dolly, I mean really secured to the dolly, I can't stress that enough. Else be ready for the deer in the headlights look when the washer machine comes loose for the first time.

Nope. My dad developed significant back problems from doing shyt like that and ended up having to get shots in his back and surgery.

I'm good on all that:camby: anybody who gets dumped for something like this dodged a bullet

Lets assume your girl friend is buying a washer and dryer. The dryer can be delivered and installed, but the washer cant. So you'll have to help her rent a pickup and dolley, bring it to her spot, then bring it up the stairs (on the dolley).

Would you be willing to do this?:mjgrin:Or do you feel like its too much of a safety risk?
You two have been together for 6 months and see a future together :patrice:

if it is on a dolly it is fine. I have done that before.
