In my shoulder:francis:

I been having issues for years but finally got an MRI. It’s saying I got arthritis around the rotator cuff and bicep tendinitis, I’m only 25. Jesus.:wow:

Been weightlifting since 16, got a long time to go. The doc put me on muscle relaxers and it was doing ok, but recently told me he wants to do a steroid shot in the shoulder.

I’m watching videos and it’s looks painful as hell, with a long needle. Peoples joints cracking and shyt while they stick it in. Plus they say there’s risky potential side effects. But my shoulder been fcked up since 2010:mjcry:

I’m conflicted on whether to take the shot

Nah, cause I thought steroids is bad :heh:

I remember an anti steroid commercial a while back.

Either way, as a Gym goer I don't wanna cheat and prefer to be 100% natural. Also I have no injures where roids might improve things.

If you mean a cortisone shot than yeah nikka go for it.

From personal experience, it works better when its for a nerve or tendon. If they have to stick the bone, I'm not so sure it'll be that effective.
I've gotten about 6 cortisone shots over the years for 3 different things, and the only time it didn't work was when they had to inject my knees. The other times it was for damaged nerves and torn tendons.

If the Doctor is worth anything, they'll have the lil freeze spray can to numb the area when they do it, if not that shyt is more painful. The delayed effect is what gets you.

Was the pain bearable? I saw in the vids they use the freeze spray.

To make this worse I’m in the military and legitimately (scared) of that long ass needle:why:the pain got worse from this active duty shyt

I’d rather take some pills before get that needle:snoop:

Steroids are a class of drugs that reduce inflammation. They are different from performance enhancing drugs with the same name. Anabolic steroids work completely differently. Steroid medications such as cortisone are used literally everyday by millions of people.
