Funny you said that because I was reading on the reddit IT sub yesterday that most IT managers prefer not to hire veterans for reasons relating to social and mental health :mjpls: but the fact they have a clearance is advantageous but most IT consulting companies are willing to pay the fees to get you one.
Yeah, I've seen a lot of that, same for other high-stress jobs that vets typically move toward once discharged.
The DoD and a few other departments leave slots for Vets only though. I can see the issues with mental and social skills though :huhldup:

I actually think the military is easier if you join between 23-26 as opposed to 17-20 because you are more mature and most likely won't get caught up in the bullshyt
What was it like having a 17 year old that out ranked you giving you orders?
