because some of us are smart enough to go with whats winning, including many of the groups she listed. when cacs set foot on asian soil and the asians saw what cacs were on. they switched styles to play the game cacs were playing.
y'all would rather have us go back to societies and belief systems that helped get us conquered in the first place.
I think this is one of the so worse ideas a black person can have about why we were conquered.
1.)Pre-colonial traditional African soceities were both patriarchal and minorly matriarchal to a lesser extent. Rather power was given based more so off seniority and elder veneration rather than solely gender. Leadership was male, but there was no real psychological justification for why women couldn't rule and in some cases they did. Which is pragmatic because while leadership is suited for men most of the time, there are instances where women are better leaders. No one balked at that.
2.) Traditional African societies were far more egalitarian even with their own unique form of patriarchy. African women at the time had their own ruling government which had representatives that answered to the King and Queen. They were also property owners so that they could grow food for their children, and they were business owners forming trade guilds for fares they would share in city marketplaces.
None of these excellent practices are what led to us being conquered.
Instead the primary reason we were conquered is because our environment, the quality of life and riches attracted the attention of people far below ourselves.
Africans were literally living so well that our leaders were traveling to other countries, throwing their economies out of wack because of our wealth. This lifestyle of ease and relative peace (b/c nothing is perfect) meant that while we had to work hard to ensure needs were met, we didn't have the type of trauma needed to make civilizations cruel or justify subjugating others. We weren't weak. We just didn't have that cultural insecurity that a culture needs to justify what whites have done to every race on the face of the planet. Greeks used to describe us as the fairest of all races.
Think about this. Europe as a continent is very different from Africa. Cold, harsh, unforgiving, far fewer resources and that's the type of people it created.
Adopting the ways of whites who explored the world out of desperation and killed, raped, and then tried to justify it with lies of their superiority is not our way.
Prior to contact with outside forces, in its unique blend of both patriarchy and matriarchy, Africans governed themselves and there was very little famine, sexual exploitation, rapes, child abuse, diseases like AIDS, economic turmoil, pollution, or violation of human rights prior to contact with whites. The entire continent was far better hundreds of years ago than it is now. That should tell u something.
Not saying it was perfect, but we could stand to learn a lot from those civilizations.
