These Houses Don't Look Like Anything Special, But When You Go Inside ...
By Danielle Beyer
You would never know from the outside, but these buildings are actually your dream home.

From the outside, this is just your typical steel shed.

It looks like anything you'd usually see on a farm or construction business.

But when you take a look inside ...

It's amazing.

This "cabin" was built for a man in McKinney, Texas.

And it's safe to say that we're all a little jealous of him.

It has everything you could ever ask for in a home.

Also, at 60' x 20' x 110', it's huge.

The project was built by Morton Builders.

They seem to build a lot of homes and cabins that look like steel sheds.

Here's another, more scaled-down example.
It's not as extreme as the other, but they all seem better than your average "cabin."

Here's another example of home's built from non-traditional material.

These are re-purposed shipping containers.

If you consider yourself pretty handy, you might be able to build one of these pretty inexpensively.

Decent-sized shipping containers cost around $1,500.

The cost of remodeling, however, is totally up to you.

Some are pretty simple and serve as cabins or even really elaborate playhouses.

And some are a little more upscale.

You can stack them.

And keep stacking them.

Or lay them out in a row.

You can also go crazy with fun designs.

And make them all kinds of modern-chic.

The possibilities are pretty much endless.

The best part is that you can put them almost anywhere you want.

They're pretty much the most versatile homes every.

Because, after all, they're basically just high-end modular homes.

The first one with the high ceilings is nice, but it would cost a lot of money to heat and air condition. The one's with regular height ceilings would be easier to heat and air condition like a normal home.
I would do it if I could. It's metal so it's not going to be eaten by termites.

That seems like a good look
Bruh, good look ain't the word. I've been doing research and you can buy 40ft containers for as little as $1,500. I've been to different sites for contractors that make them and they have dope packages. The customizations are endless :whoo:
And what American female wants to willingly live in a overgrown Lego block

I had the idea for this over 20 years ago.
However, you need land to put the project on and that was something I didn't have...and didn't know how to acquire.
Now that I have the knowledge, money and time...I also have a wife with no vision that "ain't havin that".
So, I'm fukked and will have to live in a normal overpriced house in a developed neighborhood with an outrageous HOA and constant fukkin cac oversight.

fukkin women...
