No last name change = no engagement/wedding ring. Whoever said that is a fool. She'll have to explain this thing a million times to everyone she knows. She will be shamed after the third time she has to repeat it.


Now both parties are 1 foot in, one foot out of the door. Terrible start to a marriage

I am traditional when it comes to this I never thought of not changing my last name and I really like it. I figured I would do like my mom, on all her documents, its first name, maiden name as the middle name, then married name. Even if I kept my middle I will still have a piece of my fathers name so it doesn't really matter.

So you wouldn't hyphenated it?
