Perhaps you need to branch out and stop entertaining airheads... but that would be too much like right.
I have found that insecure men feel intimidated by my intelligence.
I heard geniuses like dumb women. but i cant really stand a dumb broad, eventually just hearing her say some dumb shyt is going to get on my nerves.

There are different levels of dumb and every girl normally meets one level of such.
Some girls are book smart.
Some girls are street smart.
Some are intellectually smart.
Some are relationship smart.
Very rarely is a girl all of those things at the same time. A guy would be lucky if he got 2 out of those 4 things.
So while you respond to me chapping about me dating airheads, I'm guessing in the sense of either a girl not being book smart or having common sense, it appears you aren't even smart enough to realize there is more to being smart than that.

Intelligence is a double edged sword. A bad use of intelligence is using intelligence to control, manipulate or decieve. A good use of intelligence is being cultured.
Dumb is bad when dumb is uncivilized(acting)or cannot function in a civilized world with the minimum literacy to survive.
I agree with bruh that said he would rather be with a dumb chick than a smart-ass chick. A "dumb" woman who knows how to manage a home, is literate and cooperates with her man will always win over a woman who is has multiple degrees and can manage a corporation, but is arrogant and refuses to cooperate or compromise or even respect their husband.
The "dumb" girl gets chose every time.

I've been in a similar situation (except i wasn't in a relationship with the chick, just an acquaintance) where the girl is smart but she's a smart ass as well. Not saying you're a smart ass, but maybe he felt like you were one. In my situation, it's not her intelligence that annoyed me and it doesn't make me insecure either. Type of girl that turns every convo into a battle of wit.
Now maybe your dude interpreted certain comments as you trying to be a smart ass (and maybe that comes from an insecurity issue he has) but it doesn't mean the intelligence itself is the problem. That's why i said in my post, I'd rather have a smart girl than a dumb girl. but I'd rather have a dumb girl than a smartass (whether she's smart or not)
genuine humility (not the fake self-deprecation kind often used) is probably one of the most attractive trait a woman can have.
