If you're good then you're bound to win again as long as you don't fall into a weak mentality.

Plus if you win 200-250k and responsible with money it can last 2 years. Maybe longer.

Even if you're established you're bound to get endorsements, publicity, etc.

and as far as trading my job, well im in marketing right now and going back to school to do my mba... and the problem to me is i wouldnt want to trade out of a community where i know i will be around hot girls all the time... in favor of a gaming community thats full of nerds and entitled grown men (basing this off reddit).... i love games... and i like this forum in particular cause people arent so whiny, when games arent that great... but overall gaming communities just seem like whitebread chickenshyts

It's more than just playing games... these dudes stream for 8 hours plus a day and always have to keep their viewers entertained not with just their skills, but with their commentary

Answering the same questions over and over and over again throughout the course of a stream... On the surface it seems easy, but that grind has to be real to get the that point where dudes donating you bread so you can play video games for a living.

If you that nice in fighting games it's a diff story, cause their's big tournaments around where you can cashout, but it's extremely competitive.

Nah its best to have a day job and use youtube/twitch as supplementary income. Look at The Black Hokage aka Modern War Negro he has over 500k subs on youtube and routinely twitches with at least 3k or more viewers on twitch. With that said dude still works a day job when I'm pretty sure he earns enough not to. Also depends on what your day job is CashNasty was working at Wal-Mart so I'm sure he was happy as fukk when he could chunk the deuces and do youtube/twitch full time.

Do you have control over what you play? Because at first when I was a kid and heard about game testing, I thought it was badass, then I realized you're gonna be playing through a lot of horrible games....to be fair however, you are also playing some of the most epic titles in existence. I'd more than likely still say no as I'm sure it would get tedious after a while, breaking from that monotony would be the only escape....except my escape is video games..
