I don't care how many lumens or scollfields that Cyclops blast has compared to Supe's heat vision, if you were to do the make believe science; I can't be out here constantly wearing glasses to control shyt that could get volatile if whatever safety mechanism were to fail.
Like what if I fall asleep someplace, the glasses slip off and I just take out half my bedroom and hit the gas tank in the kitchen?

Heat vision only to not wear the visor. Also, significantly more useful.
If I could control the optic blasts with my mind, Id prefer that. Heat vision is over kill unless youre cooking. If I want to push a car or hippo out of my way with optic blasts, I can do that without bodily harm
