It's Brandon Jacobs easily. None of yall watched Giants games. Jacobs ran like he was Reggie Bush instead of the 6'4" 260lb RB he actually was. He got tackled easy by DBs in one on one situations weekly. His first ever carry was him running full speed in the open field and got stopped in his tracks by Cardinals safety Adrian Wilson. He was a product of the Giants run blocking. Ahmad Bradshaw was much harder to tackle. Remember his run in the Super Bowl against the Patriots?

Alstott ran you over and kept going. You go low, he goes lower. My favorite part of watching NFL PrimeTime was to hear Chris Berman make the sound effects for Mike "You're in Good Hands With" Alstott.

Brandon Jacobs was getting stuffed at the goalline one on one by Dallas Safety Roy Williams, who was known for only making ankle tackles.

The disrespect to Mike Alstott in this thread :mjtf::hhh:

I’d rather tackle Alstott, because sometimes he would get shifty and try to run around you instead of through you so I would shoestring tackle him. Jacobs was always looking for contact. I’m not trying to tackle a guy who was really supposed to be a DE but stayed at RB and is LOOKING for contact

You see it thank goodness. I didn't wanna waste time typing but Jacobs was not like how people remember him.

You see some highlights and his size and would think he just ran over folks. Naw not at all.

He was terrible in any 3rd and short or goal line situation. Coughin hated him for not hitting the hole hard. He also ran to upright so if you got him before he built some forward momentum he would easily go down

You're right. I think to a novice or someone who didn't play football, tackling a 6'4", ~265, 270 lb guy seems more daunting. But it's easier to get someone with that big of a frame than it is to get somebody more compact like a bowling ball like a Mike Alstott. The LaRon Landry type run over was kind of rare for Jacobs.
