I can play indie/aa rpg i just do care for those retro jrpg But in term of AAA games just about anything make by bethesda, bioware, fromsoft, Square.

I didn't get into gaming on triple a titles, so if the big franchises died tonight I wouldn't be hurt by it.

VR is an example of a gaming industry will few AAA titles. From the Dreamcast, PS2, and OG Xbox generation onward, it's AAA games that define each generation. No AAA titles and most gamers will lose interest and move on. I know I would.

On a serious note, there will always be triple A games because people like to create big massive high quality and detail worlds and gaming experiences.


I'd be way more happy if we got way fewer Triple A games that came out and when they are coming out and didn't get a bunch of hype or press, instead of how it is now.

In the meantime double A and indie games would do just fine.

releasing trash AAA games is what gets publishers and devs in trouble.

it'll never die, but just to play along, I'd go PC with a solid setup and be done.

Yup yup. The vast majority of RPG games I play are nowhere near AAA. Actually, I rarely play AAA games. Though it would be a shame not to play something like Hogwarts Legacy again.

Not as much. I’d still check in but indie and AA games don’t tickle my fancy for the most part.
