For every story I hear of a veteran making bank I hear 3 of former marines who are dead broke and feel forsaken by the govt.

The logistics behind why, idk. But to act like it's a guaranteed comeup to join the military, I've seen many cases that say otherwise

Y'all can give insight into this if you can

i've been in 12 years and most of the people i know who walked away with nothing to show for it did so mainly because they came in with no real plan thus walked away without a real plan. if the military is just a stepping stone or even if you're a lifer, decide which you want and choose the branch, rate or m.o.s. thats gonna get you there.
