Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
What would you do? Try to save a friend or wonder for the rest of your life if you made the right decision? There's no chance i would have helped but i know it would be on my mind "what if"

I actually jumped in a river and saved two people a little bit ago.. Trust me, if I didn't, grandpa and his young grandson was DEAD.

I'm not gonna lie for a second.. I hesitated.. I can swim but I'm not no fukking lifeguard, was absolutely shook of drowning and always have been, and after watching that Aston Kutcher movie, was for sure that someone was going to pull me under.. Also thank god for the coli... That guy jumping in the water to get out a log and then the white guy jumping in after... them both dying.. I used to watch that all the time. So that is why when I got to grandpa, I hesitated again.. I was scared he'd pull me down... But when I saw him disappearing under the water, I just reached down and pulled him up.. By then I was tired as fukk and said to him "don't fukking pull me down ok" and held him up for a minute.. But I was tired swimming OUT there. No way I was dragging him back and I forgot the rest of the movie, where it showed how to properly pull someone back... So I told him "float brother... float on your back to that log down there" and he did.. and he barely fukking made it..... And I barely made it back.. Had to scream for these people to pull me back the last 15 ft.................

I say all that to say............... HELL fukkING NO I wouldn't jump into this shyt. Do y'all see this fukking water? NOBODY was making it out of there and anyone jumping in wasn't going to either. I thought in my moment of hesitation, "Can I do this? Maybe.. I gotta try... fukk it" Looking at that water my first thought would be..............

I was drowning one day and some girl who can swim good saved me. I can remember it like it was yesterday. Crazy thing about this video is they almost made it out. They both were swimmers but that water was something i don't think many would survive.

I would die trying to save em. You nikkas can’t swim like that, can’t have more dead people for a lost cause

That's not even swimming that's a rescue mission

I SWIM LIKE A FISH AND IM NOT JUMPING IN.

Sorry, knowing how to swim or not would help no one in this situation. If you're caught in that current right there you're done for, if it doesn't grind you up on those rocks, its gonna drown you.
Someone with a wave runner and flotation device and a real strong swimmer can possibly get in there and save you but the chances are slim.

i learned to swim at Kips Bay Boys & Girls club.
it's like a YMCA for kids. after that i swam at the pool at my apartment complex.
then there was Orchard Beach and City Island.

the Club was cool, just lessons.
apt pool was cool as well until pops snatched me up and threw me in the deep end.

me looking at the water: :ohhh:

pops: :shaq:

me: :jbhmm:

pops: :myman:

me: all up in the water splashing around like :why:

pops: :sas1:...:sas2:...and then jumps in like :cape:

pops:

me: :damn:

I can’t swim…I would’ve probably died tho (not willingly) cuz I would’ve tried to go to the rocks and tried to pull them up without thinking and gotten washed away too…I don’t understand why she kept recording tho after a certain point

wat the fukk else she gonna do?
all she could do was bear witness and :whew: for the gram.

be happy we are here to :krs: at the fukkery.

Why in the fukk did she jump in that shyt to begin with?!:mjtf:

don't even get me started on cliff diving.
i've jumped off of mad cliffs, 60 ft is the highest.
it's a rush.

one time i jumped off a 40 footer in the early summer in the NE.
it was really hot out but the water was freezing. i hit the water and
it was amazing...but then my body temp dropped mad quick and i
got light headed. luckily i was able to swim to a rock ledge and get
my shyt together but it was scary.

Something similar happened to some Canadian travel enthusiasts a few years back.

"Three Canadian social media celebrities died Tuesday after they were swept over a 100-footwaterfall at Shannon Falls, near Squamish, British Columbia, the CBC reports. Two of the three, Ryker Gamble and Alexey Lyakh, who were two of the creators behind the popular travel YouTube channel High On Life, dove into the pool above the falls in an attempt to save Megan “Mindy” Scraper, Lyakh’s longtime partner, who’d slipped into the water. None survived. Scraper was 29, Lyakh was 30, and Gamble was 30."

I can see both sides. It's hard to watch someone you know die right in front of you. Especially if you think there's a small chance you can save them. It'd be a tough guilt to live with just standing there, in the moment some of us have fight, flight or fright each with their own pros and cons

I never put myself in these types of situations, therefore; I never learned how to swim.

you bugging.

knowing how to swim is a must in life.
it feels like flying when you are under water.

besides that it can save your life.
