Would you wear Ear gauges?

I had them when I was younger, pretty small. Liked them but the pain for stretching up was too unbearable for me past a certain point so I quit.

Got to a half-inch then I stopped.
Can't have them shyt's in my ear at a legitimate job.
They've been out of my ears for years but I can still fit the tip of my finger in my ear lobes.
