I can tell a lot of you are broke and don't understand money.
First off, most 150k jobs are hell. Most 100k jobs are shytty. I'm at one right now.
And 100k is really about 60k after tax and insurances. 150k ain't life changing money. Nice car, nice house, nice vacation, kids and your check to check w/o any accumulating savings.
A chart topping artist can do under the table shows for 60k tax free. See Boosie.
be a rapper, get caught cheating taxes and go to jail brehs

Let's ask the Mid-2000's era rappers which one they would take?depends there's a lot of bum ass rappers now days
How many rappers who got major radio play 10 years ago are still getting major radio play? With 150K a year I could invest heavily in the stock market and make a killing trippling my nest egg and shyt like that. only problem is the irs... Other than that if they're paid off your good to go... Rappers gotta get it while it's hot and get their masters.... once you do that, you can be set for like but it's riskier...
I'd make the 150k yearly work to my benefit...
I understand money...
And I choose the $150,000, 40 hour a week job option...
Not trying to fire shots at you but I saw a previous post from you saying you hated your job...
So you came into this thread adding extras that weren't in the OP...
To say that a $150,000 is hell...
That's your own personal experiences...
And not true for all...
So now let's look at the downsides of being a rapper...
Police problems, hood problems, supporting an entourage, bad for personal private life (high rate of divorce)...
I'd much rather work 40 hours a week enjoy my $150,000 a year, maybe start my own biz on the side, and be able to go out wherever I want without being bothered...
And with that kind of money I could even buy myself a condo and a 2 year old Bentley EASILY.
Do you know anyone making over 120k?Yes I do and I see and talk to them EVERY DAY at work.Do you know anyone making over 120k?
Not many companies are paying over 100k for an easy laid back position breh. You're going to be always on call. Busting your azz. Crazy and/or horrible hours. Meetings. Probably kissing azz and backstabbing to keep the job. You'll have to plan your life around your job. You guys are thinking about your current position, but making 150k. Nah.
