I blame the system.

Law enforcement in this county was birthed from corruption and racism.

And that culture has evolved into what it is today. MILITARY included because while there injustice in this country, our military kills thousands of innocent civilians on foreign land every year.

They don't actually stop crime is the thing (an absurd number of calls during a crime don't actually help stop that crime while it's being committed), and once they show up, they're more likely than anyone to escalate a situation and turn it violent. They kill an average of 3 people per day in this country and countless times more they create a conflict so they can arrest someone, even regularly being caught planting evidence to frame people for crimes they didn't commit in the first place. There was recently a bust where a large section of the Oakland department was running a human trafficking ring. There's even a guy allowed in the Philadelphia department with actual nazi ink on his arms who dresses up as an SS officer in his spare time with ties to multiple nazi groups. The entire institution is rotten to its core and its problems far outweigh its benefits. They're little more than a federally funded domestic terrorist organization. I think it was last year where in Maryland that they spent several months undercover for a $75 weed bust at Burger King. Meanwhile there's about 400,000 untested rape kits just collecting dust in evidence rooms nationwide. I wish this wasn't the case, but that's the sad reality we live in here
