At the end of the day I still have ZERO respect for Paul until he fights a real boxer, in his age range. Silva is 47, Paul is 25. Foh.

Fixed boxing fights don't excite me. i saw the Floyd one. Floyd wasn't barely trying and at one point had to hold Logan Paul up because he hit too hard.

Jake Paul isn't a bad boxer. However he fights in the 180 to lower 200 range. Any actual cruiserweight ranked in the top 1000 on the planet kos him within a few rounds.

Like I said in the Ring thread, basically he doesn’t have the IQ to fight a real boxer. His foot placement is trash and he doesn’t know how to move. Silva did have him in his web but he couldn’t finish it.

If that was a real southpaw boxer he would’ve be slumped in the mid rounds.

Those pics tell a totally different story than the actual fight. Anderson Silva is way past his prime, and had Jake Paul frustrated the whole fight.
Paul got the decision, but he also got outclassed by an almost 50 year old MMA fighter who is new to the sport of boxing.
Like @UncleTomFord15 said, a younger ranked cruiserweight would've had Jake Paul counting the lights.

Fighting is different breh. Silva has had his brains rattled in MMA a decade ago. KTFO’d on the canvas plus his leg snapped in half the very next fight. There’s a reason fighters are done in their mid 30’s. Football, hockey and fighting are very different that way. When it’s over it’s over.

Only status MMA has gotten is being the fastest growing sport in popularity in the 21st century and putting out good fights by the month while boxing struggles with awful matchmaking year after year and dwindles in popularity

Funny thing is if you actually hit the gym mma doesn’t present itself as an invincible discipline lmao its a combat sport like any other.
