Adding throwaways and changing the versions of songs. Hopefully he isn’t trying to sound like a 25 year old trapper on this...

I loved those parts of Yeezus and TLOP so it's really both. The attitude/personality but also the chopped soul samples and those drums

That said he already gave us a Take Care album as he created the style that later led to Take Care with 808s which I did admittedly love.

It's really just his last 2 albums that haven't felt as inspired. I blame that goddamn family

Imma make a LOOSE ass prediction, I see this being the album that tells us where Kanye is gonna be at for the rest of his life. Sonically, attitude, whatever. If its content, little underwhelming, just him playing the back and having other artists just mesh for an entire album that he narrates, then we might have lost the hungry Kanye. The ever-aspiring Kanye. On the other hand, Kanye could run music for another decade if this his burst of creativity that he seems to have been looking for over the past few years. Not only to where hes had a dozen ideas that many artists aint doing, but to where he already knows how to sequence them ideas. I think thats what has been missing from Kanye (the artist) for the past couple years: that god tier music sequencing.

Ye has been doing a lot of therapeutic discovery since his mental breakdown, let's hope his main aspiration right now is to let his music do the talking again. Lord knows he has the talent.

Would like to see Justin Vernon and Lupe back in the studio with Ye. Couldnt give less of a fukk about Travis, Bari, and King L. No offense, but these guys don't really bring the best out of Kanye. Doubt Lil Wayne can either. Barry Bonds is one of his weaker songs.

The only way this works is if Kanye is running a tight, disciplined ship like he did with MBDTF.
