Nas and the dream contributing to it does sound interesting.....i guess Kid Cudi cool too.
Not really hyped by the rest but no judgments yet.
I believe its time Yeezy came hard though.
Need to hear him explain his breakdown man in ways only Ye can.
Lets go.

No Pusha T? No CyHi? No Big Sean? No Q-Tip?

Yeah this is gonna be some wack shyt. And I'm the biggest Kanye fan but Travis Scott and one of the ASAPs are not names I wanna see listed as contributing to a Yeezy album.

RZA contributed to MBDTF. Rick Ross contributed to that album. Hov contributed. John Legend contributed. Amber Rose's box contributed.

This album is gonna consist of Ray J's sloppy ninths and Travis Scott?

Let’s just hope this album is not a FLOP as TLOP was.
people say this but generally scanning people's kanye bracket the album that had songs feature the most in their top 4's was from TLOP

sh_t i had ultralight beam win and FSMH1 in my top 4 too and I thought that album was a flop initally too

It's funny... The very first thing that comes out of peoples mouths when I tell them that I didnt like it is that I'm close minded. In recent years, my rebuttal has been that TPAB is one of my favorite albums of all time. That album was very experimental and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

What's the difference between calling it trash and saying I dont like it?

And didnt you just display the same lack of objectivity when confessing your affinity for the album? It was too much for me. Nothing about the album said "hip hop" to me. I didnt like it. I thought it was some wack shyt and hadnt listened to Ye since.
TPAB was heavily jazz, funk fusion with hip hop. Thats experimental but you dont have Kendrick jump from the brazen production of a Hell Of a Life or who will survive in america to the stadium rising display you get with Power (not to mention the incredibly sequenced standouts: AOTL, Runaway, and Blame Game)

If it aint hip hop in your eyes, that variety is what makes it such a renowned album overall. IDK how someone could dismiss the value of a project cause it aint hip hop. nikkas trying to be confined to a sound is why you have such a sparse lack of classics now

TLOP had alot of individual songs that were fantastic moments. I think some of the earlier tracklists that were more concise would've resulted in another potential classic from Kanye but he let nikkas get in his ear too much. but you can see by the quality of snippets and bonus tracks from that era that Ye had more than enough incredible soul sampled tracks to have made an entirely different jawn that wouldve been GOAT (Saint Pablo, Can U Be, NMPILA, 30 Hours, etc)

I get what you're saying but Kanye, like any artist who cares about their body of work, is not making the same album twice. He's not calling all the same collaborators from an album he did 8 years ago
