It's pretty much the best of stewart/colbert combined but with no network filter or commercials he's able to produced much more focused, lengthy segments.

Never thought about those prison rape jokes that way. They all up in children cartoons. Imagine being let out, coming home to relax with your children and spongebob clowns you

Hence my earlier response.
I remember talking to people about this situation in college and people really just don't give a shyt basically. Prisoners here aren't people, they don't deserve to be rehabilitated, and basically no one talks about them. I was also taken aback during the segment when i thought about how jovially United States media jokes about the rape/sexual assault of prisoners. It's kind of appalling, honestly.

I'm just saying john oliver's show is better right now. I still watch ds and colbert 4 days a week and ill watch miniority report when it starts.

Jon Oliver's segment on Income Inequality/America's Lottery was also brilliant. I'm on mobile so i cant link but it should be easy to find on YouTube.
Thing is I think theyve become wayyyyy too focused on fox news. Fox news makes ridiculous statements/ jon makes fun of them rinse and repeat.
The fact that oliver had pom send him a letter in response to his segment and had tom wheeler questioned about olivers ne nuetrality segment shows how much can be done with his show already.
