PE fell off in 1991. Like, no coming back fell off. Them and Cube are time capsuled.

PE actually fell off in 1994, but you made a good point.

The fact that Chuck keeps trying to re-invent the music business while ignoring the fact that the artists signed to SlamJamz are terrible, is both hilarious and sad at the same time. It is what it is.

The fact that the production of PE's albums has been horrific for over 10 years is a big part of the equation that some people tend to ignore. Griff, Johnny Juice, and C-Doc are the pits when it comes to making beats and should be barred from the mixing board ASAP.

anything PE related post Apocalypse 91 was a disaster. ESPECIALLY He Got Game.

I was listening to that album some time back and I thought that it was PE's attempt to get radio play, especially the title track and Flav's solo track.

Chuck bringing in Kerwin "Sleek" Young to produce two tracks was the worst thing that happened to that group(Actually, he got his start with Griff's first album and later with Muse Sick N Hour Mess Age, but you get my point). He wouldn't even let DR/Period take charge of the production and dictate the musical direction. Chuck even tried to sell the album as a "reunion" with the Bomb Squad, knowing that it wasn't.

And don't even get me started on "There's a Poison Going On"

This album is pretty solid, listening to it now.

Chuck D is dropping gems on this album.

The element of sounds on this albums has a late 80's feel,

that raw hip-hop in the late 80's of loud spoken words over scratching and mixtures rolling down the street in your car with your windows down making people scared.

It's a breath of fresh air for sure.
