His singing is damn near entirely "Studio magic" so to speak.
I still remember watching that special where drake had to "Sing"
for his vocal coach.
It was so bad I floored that this was the same guy
who made So Far Gone and Thank Me Later.

I'm just saying if we're comparing him to the average (I was assuming average R&B singer....)
he'd still be outclassed.
His melodies are great and they fit his hooks which are usually
killer but if he had to out sing someone like Trey Songz or Miguel
he'd fall very short of reaching that.
Being a pretty decent singer myself I'd say I'm well acquainted
with how terrible the average person sounds when attempting to
sing. He's likely better than the joe schmo from Subway though
so I think I get your point.
